On January 27, 2020, the North Arlington Police Department received information regarding a juvenile who was sexually assaulted by Mark W. England-Ippolito in North Arlington, NJ. After a through investigation, Mark W. England-Ippolito was arrested on January 27th, 2020, and charged with one count of Sexual Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2c(4), a 2nd degree crime; and one count of Endangering The Welfare Of A Child, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1), a 3rd degree crime.
After having his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ, England-Ippolito was released. The charges are accusations and the defendant will remain innocent until proven guilty. The Bergen County Prosecutors Office is under the supervision of Chief Robert Anzilotti. The North Arlington Police Department is under the supervision of Chief Scott Hedenberg. The prosecution into the case will be led by Mark Musella.
