On January 3nd, 2025, the arrest of Marylin Glenn, 76, were announced by Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Wildwood Police Chief Joseph Murphy. Marylin Glenn faces charges surrounding her involvement in a fatal hit and run accident that was on December 31st, 2024. The day prior she was charged with Second-Degree leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in death and Second-Degree violation of a public law intended to protect public safety.
An investigation was conducted by the Wildwood Police Department and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation was to look into a collision that struck and killed a pedestrian between West Hand Avenue and Hudson Avenue in Wildwood, New Jersey. It was further discovered that Marylin Glenn had fled the scene after the collision, but then contacted law enforcement shortly after.
Following the incident Marylin Glenn was initially placed in Cape May County Justice Facility before being released on pre-trial monitoring while she waits for further court proceedings.
The charges against Marylin Glenn are only accusations and she will remain innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
