On November 21st, 2024, the sentencing of Ruddy Narvaez, 36, was announced by Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland. Six days prior Ruddy Narvaez’s sentencing was carried through by the Honorable Judge Gibson. The sentencing subjected Ruddy Narvaez to three years in state prison. Ruddy Narvaez’s conviction came from an incident where he struck another vehicle while speeding and running a red light. The collision resulted in the death of the passenger of the car that was struck by Rudy Narvaez.
The conviction was a product of an investigation launched by the Ocean City Police Department, with crash analysis done by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office’s Fatal Crash Unit.
