On November 21st, 2024, illegal distribution of narcotics in Ocean County was announced to be handled under a one month investigation by detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force and the Berkeley Township Police Department. The investigation uncovered that William Manser was utilizing a residence in Berkeley Township to distribute and sell illegal narcotics throughout Ocean County.
According to officials, both stationary and mobile surveillance was deployed on William Manser’s residence on November 20th, 2024. William Manser was seen exiting his residence before being approached by officers. He then attempted to flee on a motorized scooter but was caught and arrested without incident. Both William Manser’s arrest and the search of his home by the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team uncovered that he was in possession of cocaine, heroin, oxycodone, and paraphernalia indicating his involvement in the distribution of the drugs in his possession.
William Manser was charged with Possession of One Half Ounce or More but Less than Five Ounces of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Less than One Half Ounce of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Oxycodone with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute within 500 feet of a Public Housing Project, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute within 500 feet of a Public Housing Project, Possession of Oxycodone with Intent to Distribute within 500 feet of a Public Housing Project, Resisting Arrest, Wandering to Obtain/Distribute CDS, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Oxycodone, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The charges against William Manser are only accusations and he remains innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
