On December 2nd, 2024, the arrest of Seeun Jang, 23, was announced by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. Seeun Jang was charged with two counts of second-degree Sexual Assault, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2c(4); and third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1).
According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the Ridgefield Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit on Monday, November 25th, 2024, over a potential case of sexual abuse to a juvenile. These concerns prompted an investigation led by Chief Matthew Finck of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and Chief Thomas J. Gallagher of the Ridgefield Police Department. Following the investigation, Seeun Jang was arrested in Ridgefield, New Jersey, on Monday, December 2nd, 2024.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office states that the claims made against Seeun Jang are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
