On December 16th, 2024, prosecutors announced that Andre Angus was charged with multiple cases of sexually touching patients as an employee of Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center. This announcement was made by Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Police Chief Eamon Blanchard of the Plainsboro Police Department.
Several patients at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center reported incidents of a male nurse inappropriately touching them. The Plainsboro Police Department launched an investigation, and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit was able to identify Andre Angus and his inappropriate actions towards patients under his care. Andre Angus was then arrested on December 11th, 2024, and charged with 3 counts of Fourth-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges are only accusations and Andre Angus will remain innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
