Two vehicles were involved in the collision, one being the car Anwar Parham drove, and the other occupying 69-year old driver Theresa Karbach, and one other passenger. Both Theresa Karbach and her passenger had to be carefully extracted from their vehicle by members of the Lawnside Volunteer Fire Department. All parties involved in the crash were transported to Cooper University Hospital to receive treatment. Theresa Karbach passed away at approximately 11:11 p.m., due to the severity of her injuries. An investigation into the incident revealed that Anwar Parham was driving at a high rate of speed prior to and during the crash.
