Hawthorne Resident Charged with Stalking, Contempt, and Harassment

Back in September 2017, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office were notified of an individual being targeted by way of frequent anonymous phone calls without a caller ID. Law enforcement looked further into the phone calls and found that a man named Christopher J. Greig, a thirty-five (35) year old resident of Hawthorne, was the culprit.
Under the command of Chief Robert Anzilotti, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office were able locate and arrest Christopher J. Greig on November 30, 2017 in Glen Rock, New Jersey. Mr. Greig was charged with Third-Degree Stalking, Fourth-Degree Contempt of a Stalking Restraining Order, and Harassment (a Disorderly Persons Offense).
Christopher Greig will be appearing in court at the Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court located in Hackensack, New Jersey on December 20, 2017.
All persons are assumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
