Little Egg Harbor Man Charged in Attempted Sexual Assault
Little Egg Harbor Township Police Chief Richard Buzby and Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato announced the incarceration of Christopher Wilson, 20. The Little Egg Harbor man is being charged with 3rd degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and 2nd degree Attempted Sexual Assault.
The arrest is rooted from an investigation conducted by Little Egg Harbor Police Detective Joel Mahr and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit Detective Stephanie Bayha. The investigation, which began in December of 2016, alleges that Wilson offered the 12-year-old female a gaming system in exchange for sexual favors.
On January 19th, 2017 Sr. Assistant Prosecutor Christine Lento approved the complaint and Wilson was arrested. Judge Patricia B. Roe J.S.C. implemented Nicole’s Order (no contact with victim) after Wilson was housed in the Ocean County Jail and subsequently indicted officially on April 19th, 2017.
