On March 2, 2020, the Dumont Police Department received a tip that an unidentified male masturbated in the company of two juvenile females in Dumont, NJ. After a thorough investigation, it was revealed that Thomas Parisi, relative of the former Englewood Cliffs Mayor Tom Pasisi, was the unknown male. On March 12, 2020, Thomas Parisi was arrested and charged with two counts of Endangering The Welfare Of A Child, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1), a 3rd degree crime; and two counts of Criminal Sexual Contact, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-3b, a 4th degree crime.
Thomas Parisi was transported to Bergen County Jail to await his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ. The charges are accusations and the defendant is innocent until proven guilty.
The Bergen County Prosecutors Office Is under the supervision of Chief Robert Anzilotti. The Dumont Police Department is under the supervision of Chief Michael Conner. The prosecution into this case will be led by Mark Musella.
