Englewood Man Arrested, Charged with Child Sexual Assault
ENGLEWOOD, N.J. (March 16, 2017) — A 23-year old Englewood man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Bradley A. Gooden of 202 First St., Apt. 2R, was arrested last Thursday, March 16 following a joint investigation by the Englewood Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police acted after they received information Thursday that Gooden had inappropriately touched a 5-year old boy last November. As a result, Gooden was arrested the same day and charged with one count of sexual assault by sexual contact and one count endangering the welfare of a child.
Gooden, a citizen of Jamaica, who is employed as a laborer, was to appear in Central Judicial Processing Court Saturday at 1:30 p.m. for arraignment.
This is merely a charge. All people are presumed innocent.
