Joel N. Stoner a 38 year old male from Macks Creek was arrested on December 14, 2016. Stoner is being charged with Child Molestation 2nd Degree- No Bond, 2 counts of Sodomy in the 2nd Degree- No Bond and Statutory Rape in the 2nd Degree- Bond $500,000 cash only.
Stoner is a former school bus driver of the Climax Springs School District. Between October 2015 and November 2015, Stoner was in a continuous relationship with a 15 year old minor, who then introduced Stone to her 14 year old cousin. Even after his terminated employment as a bus driver, court documents state that Stoner continued to engage in a relationship with the minor. The court document states investigators uncovered dozens of conversations between the two outlining their relationship and the illegal acts allegedly done by Stoner.
“Stoner admitted to kissing her 6 times but claimed he had never had sexual contact with her,” the probable cause statement concludes. Stoner admits to kissing the juvenile but not having sex with her despite the victim claiming that Stoner forced her to have sex, including orally.
Stoner is scheduled to appear in court the 3rd of January, 2017 for a bond review.
