U.S. District Court Judge John Michael Vazquez sentenced John Fricovsky, 58, to 94 months in state prison for one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.
Fricovsky, of Edison, New Jersey, plead guilty to the charges in March and the full extent of his crime unravelled in court. He admitted to sending an email with an image attachment of a child under 12 years old being sexually abused, in February of 2015. He also admitted that in December 2015, he owed a computer that had over ten, but less than 150 images also depicting the sexual abuse of a child.
After the prison term in served, Fricovsky will be on supervised release for 10 additional years.
