Hackensack Resident Charged with Sexual Assault and Child Endangerment

On November 28, 2017, the Hackensack Police Department were notified of an individual, Marcos Delacruz, had improperly made sexual contact with a juvenile in Hackensack, New Jersey. This inappropriate sexual conduct occurred from between the years of 2012 to 2014, at which time the juvenile was between six (6) and eight (8) years old.
The next day on November 29, 2017, the Hackensack Police Department were notified of another situation relating to Marcos Delacruz improperly making sexual contact with a juvenile in Hackensack between the years of 2011 to 2017. This juvenile was between the ages of 5 and 11 years old during that time frame. As such, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and Hackensack Police Department worked together to investigate Marcos Delacruz.
As a result, Marcos Delacruz was located and arrested by law enforcement in Paramus, New Jersey. Marcos Delacruz, a fifty (50) year old resident of Hackensack, was charged with First-Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, Second-Degree Sexual Assault by Sexual Contact, and Second-Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Marcos Delacruz is set to appear at the Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey on November 30, 2017.
All persons are assumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
