Meghan Hornidge Charged with Child Abuse

Following an investigation conducted by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit, the arrest of Meghan Hornidge was announced by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes. M. Hornidge was charged with Fourth-Degree Abuse of a Child and Simple Assault, as well as a Disorderly Persons Offense

According to authorities, on August 13th, 2024, it was reported to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office that M. Hornidge, employed as a teacher’s aide, had assaulted a two-year old child, at the Apple Montessori School in Wayne, New Jersey. An investigation was soon conducted and it was concluded that M. Hornidge had caused severe physical harm to the child as she slammed and dragged the child.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the criminal charges are only accusations and that M. Hornidge remains innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
