On July 15th, 2024, the arrest of Osbourne Daubon, age 19, was announced by Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Lawrence Cattano of the Perth Amboy Police Department. Osbourne Daubon was charged with two counts of second-degree Sexual Assault, two counts of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Engaging in Sexual Conduct, two counts of fourth-degree Criminal Sexual Contact, and one count of fourth-degree Lewdness

According to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, the New Jersey State Police received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The cyber tip prompted an investigation launched by Detective Kayla Hueston of the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation in conjunction with the cyber tip was primarily focused on Osbourne Daubon, subsequently leading to the investigation of his phone. Evidence recovered from Osbourne Daubon’s phone included child pornography, and depicting him exposing himself to juvenile and adult females on the streets of Perth Amboy.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the charges against Osbourne Daubon are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
