Winston Santos of Paramus was arrested and charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault, Aggravated Sexual Contact and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The investigation into the case was led by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Paramus Police Department.

On February 28, 2020, the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCPP) informed the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit about an individual who engaged in sexual activity with a minor under the age of sixteen in Paramus, NJ. As a result, an investigation was initiated. Winston Santos was arrested and charged with four counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(2)c, all 1st degree crimes; one count of Endangering The Welfare Of A Child, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a, a 2nd degree crime; and one count of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-3a, a 3rd degree crime.

Winston Santos was transported to Bergen County Jailto await his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.

The charges are accusations and the defendant is innocent until proven guilty. Bergen County Prosecutors Office Is under the supervision of Chief Robert Anzilotti. The Paramus Police Department is under the supervision of Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg. The prosecution into this case will be led by Mark Musella
