Hackensack Resident Charged with Intent to Distribute Cocaine

In December 2017, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office were notified that a man named Tadd Mitchell was involved with distributing cocaine in Bergen County. As such, law enforcement agents quickly took action and investigated Tadd Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell is a thirty-two (32) year old resident of Hackensack, New Jersey.
On December 15, 2017, police officers pursued Tadd Mitchell and conducted a motor vehicle stop in Paramus, New Jersey. Law enforcement agents searched Mitchell’s vehicle and had found two hundred grams of suspected cocaine. The agents found the cocaine in a secret compartment inside Tadd Mitchell’s vehicle.
Police officers placed Mitchell under arrest without any issues and seized his Honda Accord as well. The cocaine that was in the arrest has an estimated value of $10,000.00.
Tadd Mitchell was charged with First-Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine in a Quantity Greater than Five Ounces. He will be held at the Bergen County Jail until his court appearance is set at the Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
All persons are assumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
