Willie C. Moore, 40. of East Orange was convicted of eight counts of possession of opioids and possession with the intent to distribute opioids, including oxycodone, endocet, alprazolam and heroin.
Following the trial, Moore was also convicted of one count of possession of hollow nose bullets. Possession of these bullets are illegal because they are able to pierce police officers’ bulletproof vests. The bullets, and the drugs, were seized with two search warrants on Moore’s business and home on March 17, 2017.
Irvington Police continued their investigation for over a year. With one prior felony conviction for forgery, Moore faces up to five years in prison.
